Prime minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the India’s largest Modernized and advanced steel plant “Bhilai” at Chattisgarh.
“The new installation of cutting-edge technology will boost its productivity, yield, quality, quantity, cost competitiveness, energy efficiency and environmental protection”. An official said.
BharatNet (Bharat Broadband Network Limited), is another commencement after Bhilai inauguration during his same visit in Chattisgarh.”The BharatNet project has an achievement to connect Gram Panchayats with underground optical fiber network,” read by official release.
Third target in Chattisgarh, The inauguration of an air services between Jagdalpur and Raipur, this new air service to be unveiled by the prime minister Modi, this service will fulfill the dream of having an air service of the people of this region.
During the same event, the Prime Minister will go to visit Naya Raipur Smart City, here he will inaugurate an Integrated Command and Control Center for the city.
“Bhilai” is one of the integrated steel plant of steel authority of India limited, was installed in 2nd five year plane of the then government from the year 1956 to 1961. There were two another steel plant were installed in this period are Roarkela (Odisha) and Durgapur (West Bengal) steel plant. AT this time the government’s achievement was to increase India’s GDP upto 6 to 7 per cent.
Ahead of his Bhilai visit, he will move to lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of Indian institute of technology (IIT) Bhilai.
“Under various government schemes the Prime Minister will distribute laptops, certificates to beneficiaries. After all inaugurations, as his habit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public meeting, where he will share his opinion in front of the audience and will promise to tackle the problems if the state faces. ” ANI.
