After taking the box office by storm through the movie Tiger Zinda Hai  Salman Khan once again is gearing up for the next project along with Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman Khan and Alia Abbas Zafar to soon begin work on one more big budget movie named Bharat.

The announcement of the movie Bharat was made by the director Ali Abbas Zafar on Bhai’s 52 Birthday. The story of Bharat will be set in the backdrop of India in 1947 and will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Not just that, the film will showcase significant events over a period of 70 years since partition.

If the report is believed film Bharat is an Indian adaptation of 2014 Korean film named ‘Ode To My Father.’ It is likely to be a commercial film with a mix of action, drama, and music. The South Korean drama movie is currently the second highest-grossing film in the history of Korean cinema, whopping 14.2 million tickets sold.

The Korean blockbuster had depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man. If you have seen the Korean movie, it is a coming of age drama that touches various important events of the history of Korea.

However, since Bharat is based in India, the title of the film is self-explanatory. The movie will showcase some important chapters of our Indian modern history.  Which definitely includes the most tragic of them all – the partition of India and Pakistan. According to a DNA report, “Salman will showcase his patriotic side by essaying a character that has witnessed partition.”

Salman Khan will be seen in Five Different looks

According to the report, Salman Khan will be portraying five different looks with the help of prosthetic and VFX in the film which covers 70 years, beginning in the 1940s. This was confirmed by the movie’s director Ali Abbas Zafar.

“And we are right now doing full research with our Indian and international teams to figure out what is the right way to go about it, whether it is prosthetics or whether it is VFX, how to go about all those things,” Ali Abbas Zafar told Indian Express.

The movie Bharat will show Salman Khan’s journey from the age of 8 to 65. The Bharat Movie is expected to release at 2019 Eid.
