Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress, Padma shri awardee Sridevi passes away in Dubai last night around 8 pm onwards. She passed away at the age 54 and has given 50 years in the filmy career.
Reportedly, due to cardiac arrest in Dubai she died late in the night. Along with her husband boney Kapoor and other family member she had gone to attend the wedding ceremony of his nephew Mohit Marwah.
With the help of Indian consulate in Dubai, Husband Boney and daughter khushi stayed back to Mumbai and some other family member also returned safely. While her elder daughter Janvi was not with them due to her film shooting schedule in Mumbai.
The crowd is just growing, fans gather outside the residence of Sridevi in Andheri, from across the country, millions in followers and fans have all gathered in front of Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow. Fans have been waiting outside her home in Mumbai. They all are shocked and still cannot believe the news of her death and want to pay their last respect to the actress.
The fans of the veteran actor continue to queue up just for last the glimpse of their beautiful queen. Because the crowd continuously growing up outside her residence, public becomes uncontrolled for the police.
Funeral Will Take Place Tomorrow:
Her mortal remains and most likely to be reach in Mumbai by tonight and the last rites will take place early in the morning tomorrow. Rashid hospital Dubai where she was immediately rushed but unfortunately the doctor’s team declared brought dead. Hospital’s report says that the death is occurred due to cardiac arrest and she is no more.
The Padma shri awardee was known for her iconic roles in Hindi movies like Chandi, Chalbaaz, Mr. India, Nagina, Sadma and many other. In 1969, She made her debute in Tamil film as a child artiste also she has given her outstanding remark in Telgu, Kannda, Malayalam and Hindi films etc.
She was last seen in her last movie Mom (2017), while she was currently shooting for Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie Zero will release in December 2018.
Condolence started on social media as the news came in to light. Bollywood actors such as Ranveer singh, priyanka chopda, Alia bhatt, Sharaddha Kapoor, Varun dhavan, Ritesh deshmukh, Sushmita sen, Akshay kumar, Kajol, Asha bhoslay, Anupam kher, Shreya ghoshal and many more have expressed their grief over the loss.
