Surat businessman Savji Dholakia, is a diamond tycoon has gifted Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs to his three employees. You must be curious, why did he gift Mercedez Benz GLS SUVs to his employees? Yes, there is not a big reason, but all the three employees have completed 25-year of their service in his company.
This was not the first time When this Surat Businessman Savji Dholakia has given gifts to his employee, prior to giving Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs to its employees, he had gifted 400 flats and 1260 cars to his employees in the year 2014. Continuing his generosity, he has gifted Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs this year to three of his loyal employees, which is powered by a 3-litre V6 engine. It’s on road price in Surat is almost Rs 1 crore.
These three Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs is coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox. It comes with LED headlamps and intelligent lighting system along with features such as panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control system among others.
The three employees who were blessed with Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs are Nilesh Jada (40), Mukesh Chandpara (38) and Mahesh Chandpara (43), They were handed the car keys at an event in Surat by Madhya Pradesh Governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.
Savji Dholakia told The Times Of India, “These three had joined us when they were just around 13 or 15 years old. They started with learning to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our country.”
Savji Dholakia said, “I felt we must recognize their work and loyalty to the company and so I decided to gift them these cars as our gratitude to them and their loyalty and hard work.”
Earlier, Savji Dholakia had also gifted nearly 500 cars and about 200 flats beside expensive jewellery as Diwali bonus to 1200 of his employees.
The surprise Diwali bonus was given to almost 1200 members of staff, who achieved their annual targets during the respective years, by their employer Savji Dholakia. He had gifted 491 cars to employees who did not have a car. About 200 employees who did not have a house got flats from Savji Dholakia, while nearly 525 employees were given gold and diamond jewellery.
“They had cars, flats and gold for the Diwali bonus, the gifts were distributed as per our requirement,” a beaming employee told Headlines Today.
“We have selected 1200 employees and given them a target. Whoever achieves the target gets such gifts,” Savji Dholakia further said. The festival of Diwali will be celebrated on November 7 this year.
