There is Nothing Wrong in Padmaavat, Its All PR Exercise, Says Irfan Habib
The Controversial movie Padmavati turned Padmaavat is continuously breaking the internet by successive violence. Padmaavat screening controversy does not seem to be stopped soon. As the special screening was conducted yesterday, and people are giving positive review of Padmaavat, which created more curiosity among the people.

We are talking about the noted historian Irfan Habib has said that,
“there is nothing against Rajput in the movie Padmaavat, it’s a nothing but a Public Relation (PR) Exercise. He also said, money was also given to incite violence.”
When a media person asked him Is this is PR exercise he went ahead and said,
“It is a full PR exercise, it seems like they have been paid money, It seems like a paid exercise, there was not a single word, which humiliate Rajput’s dignity. Not a single portion of the movie distort any history of Rajput.”

The film was strongly opposed in Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Earlier, the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh government had gone to the Supreme Court and demanded a ban on the release of the film, citing safety reasons, but the court denied and directed them to abide the Supreme Court order.
Meanwhile, Lokendra Singh Kalvi of the Kelvi army of Karni Sena has said that,
He will not allow the film Padmaavat to release. Kalvi said that he is not apologizing for violence, he said that he is likely to be arrested soon. Padmaavati is his mother, and he will apologize to her. Lokendra Kalvi is quoted as saying, He would not allow any theatre owner to make money from this movie.
